Greetings in the name of Christ! I am Michael Rasmussen and I love teaching, preaching, and sharing my faith in Christ with others. While raised in Montana, I married a Wisconsin girl (Mandi) and have lived in the Milwaukee area for thirty years where we have raised our three sons (Noah, Benjamin, Samuel). Over these decades I have been drawn to the Third Ward like a magnet: from back in the days when it was a hub for antiques to today where it is the most active social spot in Milwaukee. My wife and I live here in the Third Ward Milwaukee and have a burden for our community to share the love of Christ with our neighbors. For background, I have a B.A. in Business and a Juris Doctorate (law degree). In my professional life, I do governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) consulting with organizations around the world. I am finishing up a master’s thesis on Anselm of Canterbury to complete my M.A. in Church History at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) and am in the Master of Pastoral Ministry program at Nashotah House. My hobbies and passions in life are: being active biking and hiking with my wife, spending time with family, English medieval history (particularly church history), studying Anselm of Canterbury and his works, everything related to Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, anything English or involving England (I am a Chelsea Premier League fan), and reading (I love books).
