My name is Yehoshua Odidi. I am a Nigerian and come from a family of five (I have 2 younger brothers). I am a priest with the Diocese of Kaduna, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) in Northern Nigeria. I have always had a passion for God and the Church. This passion has led me to seek a Master’s program in Theological Studies at Nashotah House in Wisconsin. This is an Anglican Seminary that has a balanced approach to Christian theology with emphasis on the Church Fathers and keeping with the historicity of the Christian faith. My curiosity to explore and be exposed to different peoples and cultures created by God embellished my drive to come to the United States. Ministering of the word (in its entirety as 2 Timothy 3:16 emphasizes) and the uplifting of prayers alongside serving in the local community are strong inclinations that characterize my ministerial life. Playing drums, reading books, watching fantasy movies and series, playing sports, exploring nature, trying out new things, hanging out with people, cooking and music are some of my avocational undertakings.
